TENNIS COURT RULES
Enjoy our fabulous Har Tru courts! Refurbished in 2018, our playing surfaces rival the best in Florida. In response to the popularity of play, our continuing policy is that courts may be reserved three days in advance of the desired court time by signing up in the guard house. Reservations will be accepted, on a first come, first serve basis, by phone or in person beginning at 8:00 AM for any of the court times set out in Item #3 below. For example, if a resident wants to reserve a court for any time on Monday (e.g. at 9am), the earliest he/she can make such a reservation is at 8am on Friday.

- Tennis courts are solely for the use of owners or lessees and their accompanied guests.
- At least one owner/lessee resident, resident’s house guest or residents’ immediate family member must play in the game. Children under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Court hours on court #1 are 8:30 am - 10:00 am, and at 1 ½ hour intervals thereafter, and on court #2 from 9:00 am - 10:30 am, and at 1 ½ hour intervals thereafter.
- Times may be reserved by signing up at the Guardhouse. The person reserving the court is responsible for canceling the reservation if unable to play at the scheduled time.
- Reservations may be made by a resident no more than three (3) days in advance with a limitation of one reservation per unit. If there are unreserved courts available, a second reservation per unit can be made two days or less in advance.
- A player will lose his/her reservation and the court will be assigned to someone else if he/she does not show up within ten (10) minutes of the reserved time.
- If the courts are not in use; players may play more than once during a day, but are subject to being “bumped” by those who have not yet played.
- Only proper tennis attire and tennis shoes are permitted on the courts. Shirts must be worn at all times.
- Food, alcoholic drinks and/or smoking are not permitted within the tennis area.
- Beverages must be in paper, plastic or metal containers.
- Tennis shoes must be removed prior to entering the clubhouse.
- When leaving the court, players are requested to close the gate and use the shoe wash provided to remove the Har-Tru granules from their shoes.
- Proper etiquette, conduct and sportsmanship are to be practiced at all times.
- After a heavy rain, the Manager will determine if the courts are suitable for play.
